  • Manufacturing and delivery time vary depending on our current order volume. Generally, the process takes between 6 and 8 weeks from the confirmation of the design and the initial payment.

  • No, our boards are engineered to be incredibly lightweight. We use an EPS core along with low-density Paulownia wood and advanced construction techniques. The resulting boards are comparable in weight (and often lighter) than many traditional surfboards.

  • Yes, significantly so. The wood skin makes them exceptionally resistant to everyday impact damage and the common "pressure dings" seen on foam boards. With proper care, a Truwood board is built to last for decades.

  • They are very resilient. They only require standard care: avoid prolonged sun exposure when not in use and rinse them with fresh water occasionally. If the board sustains a severe ding, the repair process is straightforward using a specialized varnish.

  • Our commitment to sustainability rests on several pillars:

    • Natural Materials: We primarily use FSC-certified Paulownia wood and natural cork.

    • No Toxic Resins: We avoid the use of toxic epoxy or polyester resins and traditional fiberglass.
