No, our boards are engineered to be incredibly lightweight. We use an EPS core along with low-density Paulownia wood and advanced construction techniques. The resulting boards are comparable in weight (and often lighter) than many traditional surfboards.

They are very resilient. They only require standard care: avoid prolonged sun exposure when not in use and rinse them with fresh water occasionally. If the board sustains a severe ding, the repair process is straightforward using a specialized varnish.

The workshop typically lasts 5 full days (approximately 40 hours), though we can be flexible based on your pace. It includes all materials (wood, cork, core), the use of tools, personalized training, and, of course, the finished board that you get to take home!
